Job Title : Preservation Engineer
Department: Projects
Reporting to: Technical Manager
Supervise: Not applicable
I. Main activities / tasks:
The Preservation Engineer will play the following roles on various projects on a rotation basis.
a. Project Engineer o Prepare estimations for quotations
- Plan work at site based on inputs provided
- Monitor & Report daily progress .
- Monitor & have control of incoming and outgoing manpower, materials and tools
- Client & HQ interface at site
b. Production Engineer o Assist project engineer in work planning & implementation
- Manage the preservation technicians
- Ensure preservation activities are carried out in full compliance with approved procedures in a safe manner
- Ensure Productivity and discipline of team.
- Executing the preservation operations according to work plan.
c. QA/QC Engineer o Recommend appropriate preservation solutions
- Prepare quality control document for approval by engineer and Client .
- Carry out in-process monitoring & have control in the field to ensure the preservation technician follows the procedure (in terms of chemical used, percentage dilution & application method)
- Prepare final documentation for the preservation project undertaken
- Signing off the preservation completion & project completion by the Client

- Able to work in teams, Flexible & adaptable to change, Strong Oral & written Communication, Proactive, Willingness to learn, Open to work onboard vessels for short period of time
Education, qualifications, and special training
- Degree in Offshore/ Marine OR Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- Prior experience in plant and equipment in Marine/Offshore or in Oil and Gas industry
