Corrosion VCI

Properties

  • For VCI paper, active VCI compound applied at 8-9% on Kraft Paper.
  • For plastic paper, active VCI compound applied at 8-9% on Kraft Paper and 20μm PE film.

  • Toxic levels are tested and passed: LD50 orally > 2000 mg/kg.
  • Material is completely free of nitrites, nitrates, chromates, sulphates and heavy metals.
  • Practically non-toxic product, totally biodegradable and recyclable.
  • Also available in plasticized lamination form.
  • The product is derived from non-aromatic amines which are not included in the list of carcinogenic amines.
  • According to your needs, the product is offered in the form of rolls, sheets, bags as well as in the desired dimensions. It can also be laminated on 20/40 μ polyethylene film or on Raffia fiber, with a final weight in grams of between 76 and 156 g/m².

  • Non-toxic VCI “Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor” TOXICITY level as low as: LD50 orally > 2000 mg/Kg. Material completely free of nitrites, nitrates, chromates, sulfates and heavy metals.

  • This product is derived from non-aromatic amines which are not included in the list of carcinogen amines.
  • Anti-flame retardant,Classified according to UL94.
  • Product composed of 100% resin mixtures of Low Density Linear Polyethylene resins, without the addition of other chemical.

Directions for use

  • Film should be wrapped completely around the material/item to be protected against corrosion. If needed overlap to avoid gaps.
  • Make sure all previously applied preservative coating is dried, cover 100% of the bare metal.
  • Stretch at the required level to the required shape tightly.

  • Store away from heat, flame or sparks.
  • Available in 25, 60 and 80 microns thick, 0.5 /1.2 meters width in 3 kg rolls.
