CORROSION CONTROL
Corrosion control is the prevention of deterioration by mitigating chemical reactions that cause corrosion in three ways - (i) by changing the environment, (ii) by making changes to the material, or (iii) placing a barrier between the material and its environment. As several factors influence corrosion of metals 24x7, corrosion control needs to be an ongoing and dynamic process. While preventive protection is ideal for any and all metals, advancements in material science and metallurgical engineering is making it possible for corrosion control solutions to be applied successfully to metals in treatable corrosion stages. Ideal corrosion controller models include Advanced VCI, VCI based paints and, film forming corrosion inhibitors.

ADVANCED VCI
Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors (VCI) from Deva is an innovative organic compound with differentiated molecular structure, which remains active in the substrate where it is applied, example: paints, resins, varnishes, plastics, process fluids, cellulosic products, etc. These organic salts derived from ‘people and environment safe’ preservatives gradually volatilize, forming an invisible monomolecular layer which protects against corrosion, saturating the internal environment, without interfering with any electrical activity or, compromising the stability of the metallic surface.

VCI based paints ; OXY/ECO/FC/PU COAT
